Today’s society is filled with more information and misinformation than ever before. This is especially true in the nutritional field. There are so many sound bytes and snippets of information it is hard to distinguish what we should be doing to ensure our optimal nutritional needs are met. At Lakeshore Wellness Center we take the guess work out of it. We utilize a variety of affordable and accurate testing to determine exactly what your body needs to become more balanced.

The testing methods include saliva testing for hormonal balance, nutrient mineral hair analysis, and urine collection for neurotransmitter balance. Dr Karla has been using and interpreting these tests for many years and has helped many people. When these systems of the body are in optimal balance, people are able to get relief from many symptoms.

This includes helping people with:

  • Fatigue
  • Weight loss
  • Better sleep
  • More energy
  • Feel happier and better overall

The adrenal glands secrete hormones influencing sleep, digestion, metabolism, immune system response, blood sugar stability between meals, healthy mood and overall stamina/energy levels. They are the back up for sex hormones, especially after menopause. These glands can be checked and if malfunctioning can be rebalanced through diet and supplements.

Bringing the body back into a healthy balance is achieved by using customized clinical nutrition and a variety of other techniques tailored to fit the patient’s specific needs. The process is very successful, affordable and usually only needs to be done for 8-12 weeks.
